Support Groups

Individual counseling for adults, children, and families.   Individual sessions are available upon request.

Healing Pathways,
and Healing Pathways for Family and Caregivers are research-based programs that have been demonstrated to reduce the symptoms of anxiety (i.e., irritability and excessive worry), depression (i.e., loss of pleasure and hopelessness), and social isolation common to individuals and families facing cancer. Participants meet two hours per week in small groups facilitated by psychologists and counselors who are trained in the relationship between emotional states and physical health. Healing Pathways groups include stress management, values clarification, problem solving, relaxation training, and goal setting. Registration required. Contact us for more information.


Healing Pathways
  group to foster the healing process and strengthen the immune system.  Meets every Tuesday and the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month. Call (828)252-4106 for information.

Prostate Cancer Support Group - This group provides education and peer support for those living with prostate cancer. Families are welcome to join. Meets every 3rd Thursday at Pathways at 8:30 - 10:30 a.m.
