From downtown Asheville, travel South on Biltmore Avenue. Pass Memorial Mission Hospital (on the right) and turn left onto Forest Hill Drive. Take immediate left onto Sherwood Road. At "T" junction, take a right and follow the unpaved road 2/10 of a mile into the parking area.
